Crewe's Vaughan heads for Spain

Crewe have accepted a £300,000 bid from Spanish League club Real Sociedad for Wales winger David Vaughan.

The 24-year-old will fly out to the Basque country over the weekend to discuss personal terms with Real's former Fulham boss, Chris Coleman.

Crewe's technical director Dario Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke: "David would have been a free agent next summer.

"With him indicating he would like to pursue his career elsewhere, we feel this is a good deal for the club."

That Coleman is a poor sod (in football manager terms ). he goes to Fulham after Tigana spends millions and gets fook all to spend and then has to sell his btter players and leaves for a new boss to replace him and spend silly money (I think Sanchez has spent over £25m??). He then takes over a relegated side in Spain who sell their best two players and he has to return to England to pick up players from Crewe !!
