Given that he has been virtually an ever-present in the side, I was surprised that he didn't even merit a place on the bench? Transfer speculation? Late Injury? TV appearances? Any news at all? Having said that, I thought Maybury was immense in the left back position and we didn't miss Jordan at all? Gazza

Anish Posted 6 March 2005 Posted 6 March 2005 Well we didn't miss his wayward crossing that's for sure. Tiatto's crossing was very good to be fair, although I accept maybe Stewart could've at least tried to take on Curtis - which Tiatto didn't do.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 6 March 2005 Posted 6 March 2005 I heard it was a back injury. We didn't miss him defensively but I do think him and Tiatto would've linked up brilliantly yesterday because the space down the left flank was obvious.
Wellman Posted 6 March 2005 Posted 6 March 2005 Jordan would of ripped Curtis apart yesterday. Saying that Maybury did very well defensively but he always had to cross on his right foot as he doesn't have a left. Jordan would off had a field day but it wasn't to be. <_<
