FilboFox Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 After having spent a lot of the season bemoaning the fact that we have a lack of solid fire power, are we now rueing a missed chance to sign Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink? Having seen what he can do at Cardiff, I think that he would have been a good signing for us and Martin Allen made the wrong chioce... then again, he hasn't scored bucket loads... what do you all think?

I don't think Hasselbaink would have done much more than our other strikers tbh but the trial offer was baffling. 30 days to prove his fitness is a joke considering his career and mainly the fact that Allen signed up injury-prone and generally crap striker in Carl Cort straight away.
AyewJoking Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 Would have bagged some crackers but would still struggle to be prolific given our style of play.
