Next season

On the way back from the Stoke game, i was considering a few things relating to our relegation. It is quite clear that huge changes will have to be made at the club for us to adjust to life in the third tier. I want to know what others consider about the following:

a) The club will close one stand down due to a fall in attendances for certain games.

b) The away fans will be housed in the North Stand to fulfill demand for "bigger" games from certain clubs treating it as their "cup final" and close the present away corner.

c) The club reducing the size of the corporate section in the West Stand as demand will be considerably less and open it up more to regular fans.

d) A greater incentive package offered to season-ticket holders like when we were unexpectedly relegated in 2002 when we moved into The Walkers Stadium. Few will renew even if prices are frozen after relegation. It represents less value for money now.

c) Matchday ticket prices below £20 to bring in line with other League One clubs.

d) A need to create a "singing section" to lift the players in front of smaller crowds at home.

e) An away passport to be issued due to the expected smaller away allocations.

f) The possibility of terracing at The Walkers Stadium (only kidding, although it is NOW legal, although i know our stadium design has flaws regarding this).

The current infrastructure at the club will not hold up come next season and the club need to boldly consider certain options. I hope they are in the best interests of the supporters, but i dare say that money and good business will govern decisions.

...but with possible home matches in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and the first two rounds of the FA Cup, you'll get to see more matches!

Oh wait, my bad, I meant
