COTTESMORE have lined up an attractive friendly against the Leicester City Legends as part of a hectic pre-season programme for the Rogues Park outfit.

The Leicestershire Senior League Premier Division new boys will be entertaining the Foxes stars of yesteryear on Sunday, August 10, as part of their preparations for the coming campaign.

Foxes favourites such as Muzzy Izzet, Steve Walsh, Gerry Taggart, David Oldfield and Carl Muggleton are expected to feature after recently helping the Leicester side to progress into the national finals of the popular Masters competition.

Amateurs, who were promoted to the Premier Division following a restructuring of the league despite finishing bottom of Division One last term, began their pre-season programme on Saturday with a 2-1 defeat against UCL Premier Division side S&L Corby.
