I ordered Bruschetta and i got warm sliced bread with half-tomatoes on it. It went soggy and nasty Went there on Wednesday for a few drinks. £3.04 for a bottle of Sol! disgraceful. the Vicarage massive

I always forget to watch my head in there . My brother's friends from America visited here a couple of years back and they were so impressed with that pub. They couldn't believe it. You know The Local (off license) in Blaby? I work there.

I never really looked. it used to be Manny Bernstein above the tote credit betting, I used to be the risk manager...the building and to e honest half of blaby is owned by my old boss who runs his property business from there. He was telling me a few weeks ago that the local wanted to cancel there lease but he had them tied down for 10 years (which is why there selling the lease) because since Bargain Booze opened up they started to loose business, now Aldi's there trade's getting worse....What do you think of Shirley?

I think we get more bussiness than Bargain Booze (saying that, i just went to BB to get a bottle of Stella and fags haha). Shirley is nice only when you don't make a mistake. She'll ring me at 9am the next day to tell me what i did wrong and bite my balls off over the phone She scares me but she's a laugh to work with. She tells me to take a bottle of coke for free and crashes me cigarettes. I'll tell you what, she hates Unit (Phil, posts on here). He'll work his ass off all shift long and she'll still moan at him saying "he sat down for two hours" when he didn't. She watches 20 seconds of the CCTV and assumes that's what he does all night

All 31 I only had enough for this 1 litre bottle and a 10 pack of Sterling PPft. Sterling. Actually, I don't smoke anymore, and after today, I think I'm doing well not to smoke again. But when I did, Lucky Strikes/Malborough/Camel were the only cigarettes that didn't make me hack my guts up.

AmericanScott Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Whoever told you that is wrong! We do red, rose and white wine boxes by Stowell's. I remember having to tie them up with strings connecting eachother because some rudeboys stole one. They are £2-£4 dearer than Aldi though.
