Basically the AVGN reviews awful games from the past, especially the NES and Megadrive (Genesis) era and the NC reviews awful films from the same period! Their "fued" with each other is particularly funny to watch! I'll be nerdy enough to admit ive watched all of their respective videos and ive got to say im hooked! nerdiness at its worst, but dam good free entertainment! Gotta agree about the Nostalgia Chick too, can't really watch her videos and the review she did WITH the Nostalgia Critic didn't really do it for me! Gotta love the Kazaam and Good Burger episodes from the NC too, to be honest its harder to find poor episodes from either of them, an excellent achievement considering how many episodes they've made

The Twister review was over 20 minutes! Overall, I think The Nerd is funnier. His harsh, puerile humour just does it for me! The Chick isn't all that funny, but she is hot. I definitely would.

I half reckon the NC already has!! Hmm i kinda think that about the AVGN stuff, since he moved down to his cellar (i think) its all become a bit too professional and thought out, it all seems so pre-planned now, whereas before it seemed like he just picked up the camera, told his mate to dress up as the game character and record some shit!....he's also putting on the pudding a bit! The NC does run the risk of becoming stale more though, after all it is just one guy behind a desk the whole time, thats why the AVGN vs NC stuff was so great IMO, seeing them doing some new stuff with some new material Overall i still think they are both top notch in terms of production quality and humour, and they still make me laugh out loud, so long may it continue i say! I just wish there was a UK equivalent to discuss and mock our experiences as gamers back in the day, and discuss how europe was (and still is) shit on by many of the gaming big boys in the US and Japan! A NTSC Vs PAL spin off perhaps!?

I was this close (pinches fingers together) to producing a couple of episodes about Brit shows. If anyone's interested, I'll do it... then you can all mock me in video form, as well as written.

I'd be more than willing to help pitch in some ideas to what you already have if you so wish!

Yeah, but the Irate Gamer isn't funny, and he directly copes AVGN's stuff. I agree though, it's not enough just to translate the formula to British programs, but NC and AVGN are pretty narrow in their approach. I think to push down a more surreal and demented alley is the way forrward!
