Yeah, sorry just messing around, you dont need anything that powerful. That is a good site though.

Try this one. Starts at £500 but I would customise it for a further £100 for a great PC.

  • PC Advisor Recommended March 2009
  • Choice of Ice-Box SilverOR Ice-Box Black Case
  • Choice of Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 OR Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 CPU
  • Asrock G31M-S Motherboard
  • 1GB ATI Radeon HD 4650 PCI Express Graphics Card
  • 4GB (2 X 2GB) Kingston OR Corsair PC6400 800Mhz DDR2 Ram
  • 250GB 7200rpm SATA II Hard Drive
  • 22x Dual Layer DVD +/- Rewriter
  • Integrated 5.1 Channel Audio
  • Onboard 10/100 Ethernet - Broadband Ready
  • 2 Front and 4 Back USB Ports
  • Choice of 19" Edge W193 Widescreen OR 19" I-INC iC194 Standard Aspect TFT
  • Choice of Windows Vista Home Basic OR Windows XP Home
  • Standard Multimedia Keyboard & Optical Mouse
  • Nero Essentials & OpenOffice
  • Standard 450W PSU
  • 1 Year Parts & Labour Warranty

I would change the case to the EZ cool for £15, maybe put a quiet case fan in for £8, choose the quad processor instead of the core duo (no cost), upgrade to the Nvidia 9600GT (very good graphics card) for £30 quid, possible bump up the storage space to 500gb at £30 and get the DVi to DVi cable for £8 and upgrade it to Vista premium for £30 quid. Comes in at £602 quid plus £30 delivery. Good price for what your getting really. You should see a big improvement over your old laptop.

Ok cool. Main thing is get either the 9500 or 9600 graphics card, at least 4gb of ram and a quad core processor and you'll be sorted.
