That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. There are always more losers than winners in any competition so if you're constantly negative you're bound to be right more often than not.

I remember reading all this pessimism this time last year. A lot of people were saying that they'd be happy if we stayed up. As we all know we pissed the league with some to spare.

I'll be amazed if we're not in the top half at the end of the season, in fact I expect us to be challenging for a play off place at least.

The point is that I don't see survival as being a negative aim.

Last season I said we'd get promoted and the negative predictions week in week out really wound me up. I'm not ruling out promotion in 2 to 3 years with a good solid team, but if we got anywhere near mid-table that would be a massive achievement in my opinion. Setting sights any higher for this year at least is looking for a reason to be pissed off in may.

I agree, I genuinely think we'll be one of the teams that'll be in the promotion chase. I don't think we'll win the league, but I honestly think we'll be in the play-offs or at worst, narrowly miss them. There's no reason Leicester need to be overly worried about any team in the division.

but i think the advantage that we have this year is that the championship is more about attitude and confidence than playing squad, and i believe that that is something we have over at least a dozen teams in the CCC, not to mention that we also have a much better looking squad (as far as balance and versatility are concerned) than we did when we went down.
