Alexikokopops Posted 9 May 2005 Share Posted 9 May 2005 So I was reading the Daily Star "Seriously Football" section today (in my defence I found it in my lecture theatre). Anyway, on the back I discovered this: "Steaua Bucharest seem to be running away with the title of Europe's most controversial club. Owner Gigi Becali has commissioned a special cop of Leonardo Da Vinci's "The Last Supper" with himself as Jesus, surrounded by his executive manager and 11 of his favourite players. Last month the Romanian club was forced to play matches behind closed doors because of racist behaviour, including a "Kill A Gypsy" game which appeared on the club's website"
Chimp Posted 10 May 2005 Share Posted 10 May 2005 Blimey, almost all the news coverage for that club seem to be about them being fined for racist comments by either their team, their fans and even by their stadium announcer... http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&lr=&tab=...tnG=Search+News http://today.reuters.co.uk/news/newsArticl...-51_L19554451:
