Student Supporters Scheme launched for Preston clash Our next home league game against Preston North End sees the first of a series of fixtures this season that provides additional discounts for students of all ages. The Student Supporters Scheme is the latest of a number of schemes available to younger City fans...and best of all, its FREE to join! Registration to the scheme is quick and simple, just complete and return the application form and upon receipt of your Student Supporters Scheme Membership card, tickets are available from just £8 for the Under 18's, £3 for the Under 12's and just £1 for the Under 8's. The Under 8's can also go for FREE in the Marks Electrical Family Stand. University Students can also benefit from the scheme. Again, simply complete the Application Form and once registered, tickets for the Preston game can also be purchased from as little as £8. Better than nothing I guess but it's still gunna cost students aged 22 or over 20 odd quid to go to a game when at Bramall Lane for instance they could rock up for a tenner without filling in a form or having it only having it apply to certain games.
