The town centre didn't get 're-vamped' every year?

Filbert street still existed?

The pump and tap was still standing?

Leicester's 'dirty' bits had more character than the new bits?

I'm fed up of our city turning into a clinical mess, whatever happened to leicester being leicester? I remember as a YOOF braunstone gate/canal area being shit. They did it up very very well, they should've quit then!
