Making a video

Recommended Posts

I need to make a short video for a project at uni but am really struggling with the technical side of things. Its basically going to be a selection of photographs running through as a sort of slideshow with a music track playing in the background - the same kind of thing as the video to Heroes in Blue and White.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how to do this, or recommend any free software that I should download.

Thanks :)

You can do it with Windows Movie Maker which comes with Windows XP, Vista and presumably 7.

Thanks for telling me about windows movie maker, it was just what I needed. I had to produce a 3 minute campaign video for my media studies class, Anyway, I made my film and thought I'd put a link on here as it is related to LCFC (kind of). I know its not the greatest video, but it was the idea behind the campaign rather than the technical quality of the film that counted!! Well at least I think so.
