Clive Redman Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 County Opening Batsmen Will Jefferson offers some interesting insight in his latest blog... "When you have been on the county scene as long as Paul Nixon, you really do build up a vast array of knowledge and know-how about the day-to-day goings on of county cricket. To bring a Chocolate Truffle scented candle to the Derby dressing room was an absolute masterstroke. That’s what experience gets you! "We have certainly got into the habit of ‘lighting the candle’ as we like to call it after flushing the loo. I am all for it following us around the country as it’s a lucky mascot we can take from one trap to the next. Besides, we can take out a far nicer aroma into the middle with us and come back to in-between sessions!" Hitesh Posted 27 April 2010 Posted 27 April 2010 They, as in cricketers, have a lot of time on their hands (especially Paul Nixon with his current batting form) so its not surprise they come up with some crazy stuff like this!
