Winning at Cardiff, will that be a lucky omen for the first team if we play them in the play-offs?

Exceptional achievement. A reward for outstanding teamwork and organisation, including the not inconsiderable effort of remaining fully focused. It is a boost to know they'll have a proper reserves team to play in next season but whether that will result in first team opportunities I still have my doubts. We're in the age of rent-a-player and it is clear that loanees will continue to be a major recruitment factor for us in the future. The only comfort is that we at least seem to hire mostly worthwhile loanees these days.
