The Icelandic international, 27, who has one year left on his contract, has recently been offered a new deal by Watford, who value Helguson at £1.5m. Two other undisclosed Championship clubs are also pondering whether to make a move for the Icelandic striker. Helguson, who is currently on holiday in Dubai, scored 20 goals last season. Although i do agree with your point that we can only prob afford to pay 200k for a player. It actually says 2 teams are pondering a move for him - doesn't mean they are going to offer 1.5 million does it??
