Wycombe Fox Posted 21 May 2010 Posted 21 May 2010 It's that time of year again - SUMMER - and the beach soccer season starts tomorrow with the Super Cup. My team, WKR Santos, are in Group B out of four groups; we play each team twice to try and qualify for the quarter-finals on Sunday morning. 11.40 WKR Santos v Sporting Calbourne 1.00 WKR Santos v Ryde Sports 3.40 WKR Santos v Sporting Calbourne 5.00 WKR Santos v Ryde Sports We've got 6 past and present England players in the squad. It's due to be 25° down here tomorrow so I've packed my hat (anybody who's met me will know how important that piece of kit is!) and my factor 30. Can't wait. Will post the scores tomorrow.

It's the first time we've won the Super Cup (beach soccer's equivalent to the FA Cup). It was a very gruelling day for the lads - three 36-minute games in temperatures of 80°+, including only a 20 minute break between the semi and the final.
