Clive Redman Posted 7 June 2010 Posted 7 June 2010 Leicester City Legends will play Nottingham Forest Legends in a charity friendly taking place at Quorn FC's ground on Sunday July 18th. The Leicester legends will feature the likes of former Foxes Steve Walsh, Muzzy Izzet and Matt Elliott as well as other local sport stars and celebrities from a selection of Austin Healey, Martin Johnson and Paul Nixon, as well as Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno. Forest players will come from the likes of Derby boss Nigel Clough, former England international Steve Stone, keeper Mark Crossley and defender Des Lyttle who also played for Leicester City. Budding footballers, or those who still harbour dreams to play with their heroes, can bid for the chance to play for either side in a special auction. The game, being held in aid of local charity Wishes4Kids, kicks off at 2pm, with admission of £5 for adults and £2 for children.
