Clive Redman Posted 16 July 2010 Posted 16 July 2010 In his latest blog, Steve talks about Sousa, new signings, the possibility of new investment and the other developments at the club over the summer... "There’s no doubt that we’ve got the basis of a good team. I’ll be interested to see who Sousa picks as captain and whether Matt Oakley remains a part of his plans. If not, there’s Jack Hobbs, who impressed when he wore the armband last season and the extra responsibility of captaincy might bring even more out of Richie Wellens. "I’ve heard that there’s been a lot more ball work in training, rather than the more traditional running and endurance work, and I’m sure the players will be enjoying that. However, it’s important to remember that fitness was a big part of their success last season." For more see... http://www.soarmagazine.co.uk/2010/07/16/steve-walsh-blog-intrigued-by-the-new-regime/
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 18 July 2010 Posted 18 July 2010 Have to say this is a good post. Jack Hobbs would be a good choice for captain. I would have Andy King up there too. Young, but hopefully, long term.
