If he got through to the final how bad must the auditions of been! it's funny you, of all people, should ask that, as there was something very dodgy about the auditions, specifically everyone sang to a backing track, when normally it is unaccompanied, and not only that but people who did different versions of well known songs had backing tracks for these new versions. mind you, for a show that seems to be rigged, the acts are bloody awful...
