MOT Posted 28 December 2010 Posted 28 December 2010 thats a thing worth worrying about? I'd have thought you'd have better defenders than him in your squad. He was acceptable compared to the dross around him when we were in near constant relegation battles a couple of seasons back, when he came back from injury and started playing in league 1 he was poor. We have Andy O'Brien who is better, but Kisnorbo was absolutely unreal for us last year. He was our player of the season by miles and miles, absolute class, can't say enough about him, embodied everything a Leeds player should be. No idea why he wasn't as good for you, but he was a special player for us last year - looked as though he could cut it in the prem as he had Rooney, Berbatov, Crouch and N'Gog in his pocket when we played them last year.

He was no slouch at winning the ball and defending in general but his distribution was atrocious, you can get away with that in L1, it's touch and go in the Championship depending on who else is around him as for the Premier on a regular basis he'd be totally not up to it because of his distribution.

Disagree with that entirely, always had the ball on the floor, and when he got injured our form was abysmal and our centre halves resorted to hoofing it.

Well he had difficulty passing it accurately more than 5 yards for us, so many times you were in awe of his winning the ball only to give out a WTF when he then gave it away. Edit - Good article Fez
