Leicester City has today agreed a deal to sign promising Manchester City defender, Ben Mee, on loan until the end of the season.

Mee will join the Foxes until June 30th 2011 and will be available to face Swansea City at the Walkers Stadium on Monday January 3rd, but will not be eligible to play against his parent club in the FA Cup

Third Round on Sunday January 9th.

The highly-rated central defender has been capped by England at under-19 and under-21 level and played in this season's Carling Cup for Manchester City against West Bromwich Albion.

Mee captained the Manchester City Academy side to FA Youth Cup glory in 2008 and the Sale-born, 21-year-old will join fellow City Academy graduate, Greg Cunningham the Walkers Stadium.

The defender was named by manager, Roberto Mancini, as part of their US touring squad last summer, featuring against Portland Timbers and the New York Red Bulls and has recently signed an extension to his deal to keep him at Eastlands.
