Our poor start to season not to blame?

People have said to me that our poor start to the season is to blame for us missing out on the playoffs (I expect to be shot down by the pint half full brigade for that last part).

I don't think so. Using points per game average we would have still fallen short of the play offs.

Under Sousa we played 9 games and got 5 points. That is an average of 0.56 points per game. This is clearly relegation.

Under Stowell and Chrissy P we played 1 game and won.

Under Sven we have played 33 games and got 52 points, that is an average of 1.58 per game. Over 43 games that comes to 67.94 points. Over 46 it comes to 72.68 points which in my opinion isn't enough.

Could it be said that this team wasn't good enough anyway?

We should have made the PO's despite the shite start. With all the money spent on wages and after that 5 game winning run getting us to 7th, we should have done it. I think we under achieved.

Roll on next season now though.
