Leicester Will Be Even Better Next Season

Sol Bamba has admitted he can improve and perform even better for Leicester City next season.

The Ivory Coast international made a huge impact after joining as a relative unknown from Hibernian and has become a cult hero.

However, he said there was even more to come from him and, hopefully, City as well next season.

Bamba said the season had finished in disappointment but there were plenty of reasons to be optimistic.

"I think I can improve my passing, my reading of the game," he said. "You can always improve and we have a good manager for that.

"I'm looking forward to working with him next season and becoming a better player.

"Everyone knows how the manager wants us to play.

"He wasn't here at the start of last season, so this summer he will have the chance to bring in the players he wants and set the style of football he wants.

"We need to be ready because we all want to get to the Premier League.

"I think we still need to improve on the goals we have conceded and defend like a team. I don't know if we can score more because we got a lot this season, but we need to try to improve in every aspect.

"I've enjoyed it, but it's been a season of mixed emotions because we wanted to reach the play-offs and we didn't manage to do it.

"From a personal point of view, it's been good and I've managed to do okay, but if we're talking about the team, we're a bit disappointed."
