BoneDog Posted 25 May 2011 Posted 25 May 2011 Looking at some of the pictures in the Mail piece is very sad and shocking. I never knew it was so bad, hadn't seen any news until just now. It looks fricking terrible, thousands of houses and buildings destroyed, over a hundred people killed and hundreds still missing. More bad weather on the way aswell. Hopefully the death toll doesn't rise any higher, but it looks really bad. Mail Online tornadoes-oklahoma-kansas-joplin

BoneDog Posted 25 May 2011 Author Posted 25 May 2011 And we worry about an ash cloud! Yes it makes you realise how tame our weather is most of the time in England! I've just been reading about some other recent tornadoes in the US. On Wed April 27th there were 173 tornadoes (a new record high for a single storm system in modern times) in the Alabama area and around 300 people were killed. ABC News I knew they had twisters and stuff in America but I didn't know they were this bad and this often. Can't believe those pictures on the Mail site.
Zingari Posted 25 May 2011 Posted 25 May 2011 don't talk to me about the destructive force of nature last week my garage door was caught in a gust of wind and got distorted so badly it won't shut properly now
