ta-fc Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 As opposed to writing a pre-season preview or a post season review I have decided to write a overview of the Leicester City 'Close Season' those two months between the seasons end and the start of pre-season where Citeh fans and Foxestalk contributors going a frenzy of which the world hasn't seen since the club last visited La Manga. This close season has been a emotional time for some FT contributors, finding enough Nigeria super league soccer on tv to quench ones thirst for the game has been hard to come by... Instead some have now taken to posting on here about the following topics in order to liven up those weeks before that first trip up the M69 Pashunn ... Is not a Danish Centre Half Sven has Faz out watching its a 'state of mind' now seemingly required by all LCFC players full on badge kissing, running through walls and fist pumping at the blue army faithful are minimum requirements for any new player. Technical ability, understanding of the game and squad fit are now secondary attributes, as long as the Centre Forwards sticking a challenge in on the oppositions byline. Players We haven't got enough AND we've got too many "oh why won't he give Waggy and Hobbsy a chance" - We now seem to have become Man City overnight and should happily have at least 8 or 9 new faces through the door as well as firm, published offers for a further 6 or 7 allowing the selling clubs to hike up prices! Who cares Top'll pay for it, his Dad owns King Power you know!!! Plastics My personal favourite of the 'Close' fans who don't attend every game home and away, own BOTH shirts and only dress in training gear whilst tying a scarf around each arm coordinated with if were playing at the Walkers or travelling away shall now be known as plastics... Ignore the fact that a full Walkers brings revenue for the club, were playing Madrid for exactly that reason or that it might attract a few to attend regularly... Shun the fact it will make no difference to your viewing pleasure and accept the fact 'its not ACTUALLY YOUR seat', ignore the fact some of us have, jobs/families/lack of funds to be able to attend as much as you the chosen few... The plastic fan is here to stay. Embrace the ones who supported United whilst they were at school or weren't old enough to see Tony James score 'that' goal because children are our future... All said and done you can always relish in the Song.... "where were you when we were sh!t"
sdb Posted 21 June 2011 Posted 21 June 2011 This whole 'pashuun' thing has to stop. It's more annoying than what started it in the first place.
