Yes, but Arsenal were negotiating from a position of strength. Leicester had just been relegated, had crippling debts of the stadium, ITV digital had just collapsed and City had pissed off one of the few local companies with the clout to finance the sponsorship of a football stadium. It's easy to see in hindsight that is was a poor deal for the club, but at the time the board were scrambling for any revenue they could get.
