i am a bit concernd by the squads being submited so far. surely williams is an essential part of the team and the majority of you supporters would prefer to see kisnorbo in center mid alongside hughes.

I don't think it's a case of wanting Kisnorbo over Williams - it's based on the idea that Levein will prefer the former based on his comments about him...

Some people don't even have Dion on the bench nevermind the starting 11. If he doesn't start the season upfront I can see him being used at the back for a time.

Douglas

Maybury - McCarthy - Kenton? - Stewart

Sylla - Hughes - Williams - Tiatto

Connolly - De Vries?

I think that will be pretty much the starting line up next year, for the first few games at least.

Not disagreeing but it makes an interesting point.

I reckon we'll be trying to win promotion on less than 60 goals for the season.

I know "Harry" Levein has a reputation for building his teams on defence but with this goalscoring potential he'll won't need footballers in defence he'll need a couple of brickies to block the goal up!.

A poor excuse for one C-man, we're going nowhere fast if he's still playing left wing, unfortunately we've no other option currently..

..............................Douglas................................

Maybury.......McCarthy.........Kenton.............Stewart

Sylla............Hughes............Kisnorbo............Tiatto

...................Connolly..........De Vries/New Striker.

Henderson, Willams, Stearman, Wesolowski, De Vries/New Striker

Spot on. Tiatto stirs the crowd but, while you can never question his heart and commitment (important qualities) what else do you get?. He's certainly no winger. He doesn't score many, doesn't make many, doesn't dribble well to make space for his colleagues, doesn't pass particularly well, has very little aerial threat and puts pressure on himself and the team by getting booked far too easily and far too often.

If we had forwards with outstanding goalscoring or creative skills, Tiatto might be okay as a rouser but we don't have that luxury. We need more goals and more assists from his position to be successful.
