willy37 Posted 20 June 2005 Posted 20 June 2005 does anyone else feel that one reason for the poor atmosphere is the lack of vocal support at the walkers? i have read many topics saying this etc but whether or not people will actually sing next season is another matter. also it seems as though we do not have many songs anymore, especially for players. all i can rememba last season is occasionaly people shouting dion or hughesy. anybody feel creative about making some proper songs?
Vardinhio Posted 20 June 2005 Posted 20 June 2005 People can make the songs up mate. It's the getting them sung by numerous people that's the tricky part. I'm coasting down old lines but the fact we sing few player related songs is because the players as things stand are hardly inspirational and lack character. A good song about Paddy Mac, Maybury though would be appreciated as they are two of our better players.

However very few were taken up due to the level of performance. Did hear Tiatto (to the Music Man theme) a couple of times & songs once for Keown & Connolly. Perhaps now players will be around for more than 12 months we may get some established. Back to the original question "reason for the poor atmosphere is the lack of vocal support at the walkers" - isn't that the same thing - how would you have good atmosphere without?
