New LOROS Shop Opened 4 Men

LOROS were delighted that Leicester City Legend Steve Walsh officially opened their new shop, “4 Men” on Tuesday 27th September at 12 pm. The new shop is the UK’s first charity shop that caters just for men. Situated at 1 Leicester Road, Wigston, “4 MEN” stocks quality men’s clothing, DVD’s, CD’s, Books, Sports Equipment and Bric-a-Brac all of which will interest male shoppers. LOROS has launched the new shop after noticing that there is a real demand for quality menswear at affordable prices and that no other charity had been able to fill this need.

Jonathan Capewell, the LOROS Trading Manager said “We are really grateful that local celebrity Steve Walsh took time from his busy schedule to help us launch our new shop, 4 Men. We have had a great response to the Shop from customers, especially women, as they will now be able to find gifts for the men in their lives.” Steve Walsh is a former professional footballer, who spent most of his career at Leicester City. He also played for Wigan, Norwich, Tamworth and Coventry City, over a career lasting 21 years. Steve said “I am pleased to be have been asked to open this new shop initiative for LOROS. I know what a great cause LOROS is and what tremendous work they do for so many terminally-ill patients and their families locally.” The 21 LOROS Shops play an extremely important role in helping LOROS raise annually £4 million to provide free care and support to 2,500 patients and their family each year.
