wellyfox Posted 18 October 2011 Posted 18 October 2011 Dont think we can blame Mills for losing us a point. If we had lost 2-1 then maybe but we barely even had a shot on goal and really didnt come close to getting a draw. The reason I put possible loss of a point is. At that point we was only 1-0 down We then had to play 30 mins with 10 men The second went in while pushing fwd and being a man short. No one can say how the game would have ended but we would have stood a better chance. Now we go into a period of games he will be banned for without our skipper. Also IMO he deserves no sympathy for what he did.
Haydos Posted 18 October 2011 Posted 18 October 2011 The replays make it much worse, the first pic clearly shows it's reckless and he has no control. The second only shows how lucky he was not to snap his leg right in half, Mills' legs actually end up either side of their players'. At the time I thought it was a harsh decision but he got it spot on in hindsight.
Guest Col city fan Posted 18 October 2011 Posted 18 October 2011 This is all rubbish excuses again I'm afraid Rules is rules.... Having just gone a goal down our CAPTAIN was idiotic to even give the new ref the chance to send him off I thought Mills might have had more composure and sense about him Unfortunately not..... Let the players down, the manager down and the fans down Silly boy
