Why I missed Nigel Pearson

Recommended Posts

I have many times on this forum said that letting Nigel Pearson leave was a big mistake. A number of people said, look to the future, forget Pearson. I think all of them must eat their words and start to understand what this man is made of. He is a no nonsence manager, with the right attitude and knowledge.

Sven tried a number of things, tried to please a number of players and hoped that his way of dealing with it would be the right way. Sven tried to get us promoted, getting us into the play-off's but now for the first time since Nigel left the first time City are back in the play-off zone.

Nigel Pearson knows how to structure a team and manages to get the best out of what he's got, and he has shown that he is clever at that.

He will not tear apart what he inherited from Sven, but work on a daily basis on the training ground to get this into a good side. The player squad at the club today are better than it was when Nigel left. Nigel knows that and will be able to bring this forward.

Great to see Nigel back, can't see this man failing with City.
