Clive Redman Posted 15 March 2012 Posted 15 March 2012 For any rugby fans out there, here are a couple of links to two recent interviews with Ben Youngs and Rory Underwood... Youngs... "I want to play in another World Cup, keep competing in the Premiership and win that as many times as I possibly can. But the one to win for me is the Heineken Cup with Leicester, without a doubt." http://www.soarmagazine.co.uk/2012/03/12/an-old-head-on-youngs-shoulders/ Underwood... "I still enjoy the game I love. It’s moved on and developed, but the players are athletes now. We were trying to keep fit part-time alongside jobs, whereas these guys are training full-time. The science, the technology, the diet and the training has just moved way, way ahead of what it used to be." http://www.soarmagazine.co.uk/2012/03/15/the-soarpoint-with-rory-underwood/
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 17 March 2012 Posted 17 March 2012 The game is so different now, and the players far fitter. I still love the game and am an ardent Tiger's fan, but I think I just about preferred the older times. Les Cusworth was my idol.
