_Fatboyslow_ Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 Sorry but he was piss poor, and at times a liability. Dont forget Forest shut up shop so any he made the defence look good is nonsense, and he created as many opens as Dyer did on the 2nd half, did he come off at the break? Sorry it was worth a go but it didn't work for me, mind you hr was better than Lewis!!!!!
unreachable Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 It was difficult to judge his potential in this position since the midfield was very congested and he had no time to build an understanding with Drinkwater. I accept that he was told to play in a defensive role in front of the back four but I think his flamboyance and unpredictable play causes havoc more to his own team than the opposition. He's definitely best suited to defence but you have to like him - he did start the move which led to Dyer's shot on Tuesday. I'd expect Wellens and Drinkwater to start on Saturday.
Langley Posted 29 March 2012 Posted 29 March 2012 To be honest at the Forest game he looked like a quality player. He was allowed to drop those balls onto his chest and get away with it because he had Ledge and Wes behind him to mop it up instead of Kasper. That one move that he made that Dyer nearly scored he was less a defender and more a Sol Beckenbamba.
