Carlos9 Posted 17 June 2012 Posted 17 June 2012 Dont know if any of you are interested but I am raising money for the British Paralympic Association. I am selling t shirts at a small profit for the Olympic torch relay. Check them out http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=251087470758&index=1&nav=SELLING&nid=80782023368 Hopefully this post dont get removed!!
Larry_LCFC Posted 17 June 2012 Posted 17 June 2012 I take it these are official and have been endorsed by the Olympics? If not expect a knock at your door. Ebay are red hot on this at the minute
Carlos9 Posted 17 June 2012 Author Posted 17 June 2012 What? I made them my self... Are you serious? What will happen? There is no official logos or anything like that on them? And I have authorised it with the charity?
Larry_LCFC Posted 17 June 2012 Posted 17 June 2012 haha you will probably be fine. Its just I know the scrooges of the London olympic committee are being arsey with anyone using the "olympic brand" because they say it is all under their trademark. The fact its for charity, you should be fine. It would be very harsh.
Larry_LCFC Posted 17 June 2012 Posted 17 June 2012 http://www.london2012.com/about-us/our-brand/using-the-brand/#what are protected games marks You may want to read through that. It does say the word "London 2012" is protected and they will enforce it. I dont see a problem with making a bit of money for charity but just worth bearing in mind.
Carlos9 Posted 17 June 2012 Author Posted 17 June 2012 Haha well thanks for the heads up anyway I just know to not answer the door to unexpected knocks now! Haha
