davieG Posted 31 July 2012 Share Posted 31 July 2012 OS City boss Nigel Pearson intends to give Jermaine Beckford and Sean St. Ledger their first action of pre-season this week, as the Foxes continue their build-up to the 2012/13 campaign. Illness has ruled Beckford out of City's first two friendly matches at Hinckley United and Shrewsbury Town, while St. Ledger was given an extended summer break due to his involvement at Euro 2012 with the Republic of Ireland. But both players are in line to be involved in the coming days, with a development fixture taking place behind closed doors on Tuesday and the first team travelling to Burton Albion on Wednesday.
