Rincewind Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 At the DNO meeting last night it was said we need more people submitting work and being involved the project. The second issue of Down Not Out is due to be out this Sunday to coincide with Leicester Day which is taking place at Leicester Market. There will be many charity stalls and other organizations appearing. We also discussed the website www.mydno.org.uk and saying it's not quite as a couple of us had visaged. It is not eyecatching or attractive enough so if there are any web designers who wish to contribute a few hours it would be appreciated. We set up a word Press blog last night. which is partly what is needed. A web site where people can reply and comment on each section. I was told that as I have access to the username and passing I am now a sub-editor.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 I'd be interested in it, but after looking at your display picture.... Maybe not.
Guest MattP Posted 5 September 2012 Posted 5 September 2012 Never heard of "Leicester Day" - what is it?
Rincewind Posted 6 September 2012 Author Posted 6 September 2012 I'd be interested in it, but after looking at your display picture.... Maybe not. We need fresh ideas. Leicester Day is the coming together of many help and charity organizations having their own stalls. Adult Education cancer research Lassal. Any that give support when needed. There may be leaflets and flyers in the library Apex and I know there should be some in Coffee Republic. http://www.leicesterday.org.uk/
