Leicester City’s table-topping Under-21s will face Cardiff City in the Professional Development League 2 Semi-Final on Tuesday 7 May at King Power Stadium (kick-off 7pm).

Steve Beaglehole’s Development Squad secured top spot in the northern league with an emphatic 3-0 win over Birmingham City at St Andrews last month to round off a successful league season.

Cardiff now await City’s youngsters in the semi-final after they ended the campaign second in the southern section on goal difference behind Charlton Athletic.

The winners of the one-off tie will then go on to host either Charlton or Huddersfield Town in the national final, in the quest to be crowned national champions.

Tickets for Tuesday night’s game at King Power Stadium, available on the night from the City Fanstore, will be priced £3 for Adults and £1 for Under-18s.
