Petrov19 Posted 2 August 2005 Posted 2 August 2005 What's the general opinion of this Legend after a few games? Hopefully the great man has found a new home in Leicester and goes on to become a true great like he did at Celtic. Momo, Momo Momo, Momo Momo, Momo, Momo SYLLA!!! Any of you singing this song yet? The man, the legend, the Momo:

Scow Posted 2 August 2005 Posted 2 August 2005 I've only seen him play live in one game so far (against Celtic) and he impressed me. Seems to have plenty of pace, with the ability to get past players and get crosses in. From the highlights I've seen against Oxford, he looked our most creative player out there, setting up a few goals. He also seemed to perform well in the Inter game. I've read a number of comments from Celtic fans re: Sylla, and it's been a mixed bag. Some say he has no footballing ability whatsoever, others say the total opposite. Maybe the term 'unpredictable' would be the most apt description for him. There's no doubting he has a few tricks up his sleeve though - He performed two pieces of great skill in the Celtic friendly, which Mo Camara look baffled with. I understand that Sylla was played out of position for most of the time at Celtic (obviously due to the 3-5-2 formation adopted by O'Neill) Sylla is a natural right winger according to Levein and the player himself. I'm confident he'll be an influential player for us next season.
