Last season replaced Vardy for being 'poor' Wood comes in and look what happened?

 

Bit of an off point - Wood scored plenty of goals in a period when Vardy was unfit, I don't think you can really relate our poor form and the purchase of Wood on this occasion. I'd go as far as to say we'd have not made the play-offs with only Nugent, Waghorn, a rusty Schlupp and an unfit Vardy up top from January onwards - in fact, Pearson would've been crucified had he not moved for a striker in January.

Back on topic, what is differant is that after losing the top spot with two back to back defeats we have turned it around inthe next two games and climbed back on top. A win on Sunday would start to consolidate the top spot and really put the pressure on burnley and qpr. At times last season the players looked lost and lacking direction where as this season it seems not to be an issue.
