Foxes Never Quit Elsie F Sea - 57th post - 21 Aug 2004 22:02 To all Foxes fans, thats how we always used to see our team. I must say that i am really struggling to see this from the guys in Blue at the moment. We have arguably the best squad of players in the league. If these players together do not get us automatic promotion, there is only one person we can blame. Although Micky needs to be given time (which is quickly running out from where I am coming from), it is important that we do keep it real and he starts to get a little nasty. He alwys tries to make himself out to be a good guy and blames everything from not having any money (its wearing a bit thin now), together with us not getting the rub of the green. Maybe with some direct critism (which he is not above), may help him get that edge which all great managers have. Its pointless trying to play pretty football if it gets you nowhere (Just look at Forest). This is something that I think Micky is trying to do at the moment (and not very successfully at that). We need to play when required and mix it by roughing it when needed. Something we failed miserably at Millwall last week. My worry is that players are losing the stomach/bottle for the fight. If Micky cant get the boys fighting for the shirt, then he needs to make way for someone that will instill that slogan which all City players should obide by - Foxes Never Quit. Lets hope Dion gets back quick and starts the ball rolling this season. KTF Well said indeed

Think MA is great but am getting tired of excuses and expectations dashed in the dying seconds of matches. Keep the faith...I'll keep the faith when you stop taking the pi$$
