Bluefoxtim Posted 26 August 2005 Posted 26 August 2005 I will repay faith, insists Hamill Leicester's new midfield signing Joe Hamill is itching to repay the faith shown in him by manager Craig Levein. Former Hearts boss Levein signed Hamill from the Tynecastle club earlier in August and the 21-year-old went on to score on his debut as Bury were beaten 3-0 in the Carling Cup this week. "The manager gave me my chance at Hearts and I know what he is looking for," said Hamill. "I'm not really bothered where I play so long as I can get a game. "I still had a year left on my contract with Hearts but I wasn't in the manager's plans so when the offer to go to Leicester came up I was delighted." Meanwhile, defender Patrik Gerrbrand is expected to be sidelined for up to a month after picking up an ankle injury at Bury.
