Rincewind Posted 3 June 2008 Posted 3 June 2008 Just read about a new sport thats on the rounds. Called Ultimate. Thought some of you here could arrange a game between yourselves in the summer footie break. Basic Rules A game for two teams. Can be mixed sex. Played on a pitch similar to a football feild. A disc is used and a goal is scored by passing it into an end zone your team mate can stand or run and catch it. Players caannot run with the disc. They have to stop and then pass. Possesion is gained by the opposing player droping the disc or by an interception. The winner is the team to reach a certain amount of points normally 19 with a lead of two points. Tight games can last for two hours. It is a non contact sport but there are no referees. Decisions are decided amicably between the two teams. I'll put a link to here though. Had to have an ironic smile though. In the article it said the Leicester team had been relegated to the third division and were looking to rebuild the team.
