Forget history, think of the present.. history means f**k all now, yes it's nice to reminisce our title win. But right now under the stewardship of Top and Rudkin as our DOF we have regressed big time.
Read that back. It's hilarious.

We’ve just seen an example of a player being linked, days go by after a bid has been submitted and then another club seemingly do the deal in 48 hours.
Because we aren't going to blow our budget now and limit further spending. Seems sensible.

How many other clubs are so crap at late deals they miss the paperwork deadline by 14 seconds…

Do you know who our DOF is?
Yep. Do you know how many fans and clubs would swap their recent history with us in a heartbeat.

I can see your point, but we are notoriously slow at doing deals and have never been good late in the window…I hope I’m wrong
We aren't. We are fans in our own bubble who want to believe that.

Watch him be average. Genuinely.

There is no point in panicking. Calm heads are key.
Imagine getting to the end of window and finding yourself in a position to sign very good players who are not available at present.
We are playing poker. It's a risk but it could land us in a very fortunate position, especially when the likes of Ipswich have already spent most of their budget.

Out of interest on the basis of what?
He had a decent hand in securing Leverkusen’s title winning season towards the end and played in an European semi final away in Rome where they won on aggregate
He contributed a little bit was very much on the periphery.

Premier league defenders will deal with him easily.

Ipswich have agreed in principle signing of Szmodics. Just unbelievable
For gods sake, he's not premier league quality. I guarantee it.

I don't actually think he was the right type of player for us. Definitely not the right type of mentality for a very high pressured role.

This must be a wind-up!
Wait and see (if he signs)

On what planet is he? We already have Fatawu, Reid and now Bouonanotte thst play on the right.
The bloke averages 3 goals a season in the Premier League. Extraordinary
On the planet of...
1. Having very little in terms of budget
2. Having to fight and scrap this season
3. Having little in terms of possession this season
4. Needing someone who can hold onto the ball up front
-
I'm telling you now, he's exactly the type of player we need in our position.

No, I don't know why he shouldn't reveal his starting 11 a week before the league kicks off.
Please tell me.......
Have an educated guess.

If I have to answer that then you clearly don't understand how football works.

I get that Coops isn’t a fan of playing Cannon, neither was Enzo… But starting Mavididi and Ricardo on the bench? F**k off Stevie
It's a friendly FFS! He's not going to reveal his starting lineup to the world!!

I think it's rather obvious.... Brighton wouldn't entertain a buy option as he's seen as a very good prospect.

Great, let's buy him then and settle for bang average.
