Yeah could be a lot worse but they did spend 35m in League one under him and a similar amount this season. Did a good job last season, albeit with the best squad that league has ever seen. This year though he’s been outdone by Phil Parkinson at Wrexham. Charlton also not far behind him despite being diabolical under Nathan Jones, stinking the championship out.

Best shout for me so far is Mark Robins providing Stoke lose their heads and get rid of him. Be great if he came with Adi Viveash, too.

Ahh I missed the Skubala shout. I agree, it’s a ridiculous shout and would be a stupid move from him. If Neil fails to take Millwall up then realistically are they gonna push again? Probably not. Neil coming to us, even in league one isn’t THAT farfetched. I’d be much more inclined for us to go for Challinor providing Stockport fail to get promoted or Stoke commit suicide and fall out with Robins.

The defeats to Charlton, Oxford and QPR at home followed by the awful draws against PNE and Sheff Weds have sent us down. We aren’t going to stay up. Who manages us? Pearson isn’t going to happen. Rowett has gone the wrong way and proven incapable. Skubala won’t abandon a promoted Lincoln before anyone suggests him. King isn’t anywhere near ready. So come on, realistically who’s taking over?
