  1. We've beat Bristol City and West Brom in the league this year, 3 and a half months. Now we need to win 3 games in the next 2/3 weeks? Not impossible but in reality, not happening with what we've saw on the pitch from these cowards.

That would be terrible for people in the West and North West of the City.

I've recently had to go to the General from Hinckley in busy times it's a 50 min car journey there and back plus parking you're talking 2 hours. I doubt Glenfield is a lot better.

Where as the Royal I can drive to the P&R at Enderby 20mins and use the P&R 20 mins,  totally reliable and it drops me off right out side the hospital.

Why would expanding/improving the General and Glenfield be bad for the West and North West?

I'm not saying we close down the LRI, just take some of the millions they keep spending on trying to expand the LRI and expand/add more services to the other two.

  3. The amount of land that both the General and Glenfield cover it seems insane to keep trying to expand the LRI.

Put any hospital money into the other two; they quite nicely cover the east and west of Leicester and the land surely they could put a small A&E or an urgent treatment centre at both?

This will switch the narrative in the stands for some. They will continue to sing about the football league and premier league being out to get us.

For me, the only reason we're in this situation is because of the ineptitude of those at the Top of our club, literally. We should never have been put in this position by them.

However I'll still say 'F**k the Premier League' as it feels like it's just vindictive against us now.

  5. On one side, I am confused as to why the club would do this - just take your punishment and move on.

Then on the other side, I do wonder why the Premier League are so intent on hammering us. Is it because we embarrassed them time we used a loophole to get out of sanctions? Did we pee off someone in particular at the PL that they're now like a dog with a bone? With so many clubs having done some obviously dodgy dealings e.g. Chelsea selling their womens team to themselves, Newcastle and Villa with their dodgy sale/purchases of each others home grown talent etc. (not mentioning Man City), Forest signing about 50 playes in two seasons. Why are we constantly getting hammered?

For those who haven't watched it, the key takeaway is: relegation = liquidation.

We are in a large financial hole at the minute and relegation to L1 puts us on the edge of oblivion it seems.

I would say it's more: Relegation and No Instant Return = extremely high chance of bankruptcy

Life's too short.   The football is bad enough but  I hate the way that modern football and psr is turning us into amateur accountants.

I'm just saying that the big cliff edge drop off is the premier league down to the championship.  Championship down to league one is just slightly thinner gruel.

The amount of time you've wasted asking questions that the video answers you would have saved yourself time.

Just showing my ignorance here, but there is no money in playing in the Championship, so why would it be so much of a disaster financially if we dropped again?

Dropping from the PL to the championship is the catastrophe.

Watch the video that this thread is about. ffs

I drove down there a week or so ago and I really wouldn't go that far, I've seen much much worse in so called first world countries

Try walking down there once a week, it's horrendous. Crap on the streets and uncivilised people. It's disgusting.

  10. As someone who has experienced with Sunderland what we could potentially experience if we go down I think it’s important to take note. Could potentially be a disaster if we go down. We need someone in asap to steer us to safety, it’s critical Top acts now.

We just need to get behind the team now. Support Kingy and these confidence shredded players. Protests and booing are not having the effect needed during the match. The chairman won’t be there anyway.

Boo and protest afterwards if necessary but we simply have to get something from Tuesday night.

In fairness we've spent the majority of these players contracts at Leicester 'getting behind them' and supporting them, in fact I'd say that our fan base has actually supported and 'got behind' these players too much. They get off scot-free and get clapped off the pitch no matter the performances they put in.

Enough is enough - on and off the pitch it's a shambles and all these fans constantly saying 'back the lads' or 'get behind them, booing won't help', you're actually one of the biggest parts of the problems at the club now as you'll accept whatever standard is thrown at you from the players on the pitch or the club as a whole.

I didn't mind Perez or Praet :dunno:

Travesty they both left for free and we paid far too much for them but as far as Rudkin additions go they are two of the better ones.

Guess that says it all about our recruitment really.

Sick note Praet was not one of the better ones. I remember maybe 3 or 4 good performances and that’s about it.

If Perez had joined for like £10-12m it maybe wouldn’t have seemed like too big of a mistake but for what we paid and what we got it turned out to be a  joke of a decision.

(Although if you’d have said for the money it guaranteed us an FA Cup with his assist pass I’d probably have taken it 😂)

Can you imagine that in the King Power? Just wouldn't happen with all the KPFC fans.

"Leave him alone, we won the Premiership because of him!"

"We got free donuts and a beer - we'd be in League Two if they didn't save our small club!"

  14. Smithers will definitely be here until the day Top decides to leave imo.

Saying that, Top could potentially win back a lot of favour if he cut ties and got rid right now and then did a good job replacing him and employing the other top level management. Just can't see it though, its like JR is his only friend at the club.

We have a history of signing decent CBs late in their career. I'm thinking of Sinclair, Huth, Taggert, Morgan. Even Coady, though that didn't work out great.

So hopefully iLaselles is another. I just hope he doesn't get poisoned by the bad Eggs in the squad.

Had to double check this as the post made me question myself but Taggart and Morgan were both 28 and Sinclair 27 when they joined.

Huth was actually 31 so the only one similar

I've said already the substitutions and in-game management was cowardly, however this is literally his first game in charge of a professional football match. So it just couldn't have gone worse for him could it.

So what you’re saying is that any team that goes down to ten men at 0-0 will always lose the game.

Naivety in who went off in that first sub cost us the first half. Okoli has let the team down but it didn’t mean we had to just surrender any chance of trying to score, Ayew struggles with support let alone without any.

If not for the red card, we would have won the game 2-0.

Can't put it on King today. Generated 2 xG, red card in 15 mins, Ayew missed a pen.

Not sure how you’ve come to that at all. We made Coady look like prime Pirlo at certain points in the first 15mins
