I believe since Rodgers came in that something along the lines of "leave it to me, I'm the greatest" conversation happened upon appointment or not long after. Upon that conversation we have "success" at 5th, Europe and FA cup. Tops in dreamland! It all then comes falling down around top and the blokes left not knowing what to do! I might be completely wrong! The fall of BR and his total lack of enthusiasm from the back end of last season, with comments about rebuild, calling out players and basically driving a wedge between many always makes me believe he knew funds were going to be tight and basically making Top the fall guy for his failures before he's actually failed, knowing he(Top) doesn't really know what he's doing. Hence the late bullet, the disappointment in the new manager and it's all a shit storm because Top actually didn't know what to do in the first place from appointing BR. BR has a lot to answer for in my opinion and I believe he had more control over the club than let known at the beginning. Top can do this, with the right people. Brendan and his leadership has fvcked us and Tops clueless on how to lead overall. Make the right appointments now, ship out the BR regime and go again. Obviously, just my opinion though and it might suck to many. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

For me, Get him in as DoF as soon as possible or some similar role alongside Walsh if we can. Get a spine to our leaders above. Happy for shakey to stay on with JT, Stowell etc... but it must be a new manager. If we are in the heart of Nige as much as we believe and top can work this problem out, then upstairs is a must.
