  1. How about this to the tune of Frere Jacques: (Right side) Anthony Knockaert, Anthony Knockaert , is very very good, is very very good.(Repeat same words for rest of the tune) (Left side sing same words but join in here>>>>>>>> Anthony Knockaert etc
  2. Apparently Bury have only lost one of their last eleven games including the 3-1 disposal of Coventry earlier this week. But this is Leicester we are talking about. Extra-time? Penalties? Not a chance! Schlupp the City!
  3. The trams leave Bury every 12 minutes so realistically, you (and me plus a few others!) are looking at 9-48; 10 pm; 10-12; 10-24; and 10-36. The journey to Manchester Piccadilly Station takes 30 minutes so the 10-48, 11-00 and 11-12 (last one) are no good.
  4. Last train leaves Man Piccadilly at 23-14 but only goes to Oxford Road when there's a replacement bus service to L'pool leaving at 23-27, arriving at 00-41. Any help?
  5. Anyone from the North West going tomorrow (Coventry)?
  6. deepblue and I will be watching from the main stand, on the half-way line about 7 or 8 rows up!!!! We'll give you a wave! .......................................................as we cry with joy ................................or just cry!
  7. Are any NW Foxes fans planning to go to see the Donny match on Sat? Two of us are going on the 9.54 from Stockport (9.43 from Man Piccadilly - Platform 13) It's a Fans Fixture match and if you don't already know (eg you've been stranded alone on a desert island. or you've been to the moon and back in the last couple of weeks), the admission prices for non-STH's are £10 Adults, £5 U18's and £1 U8's. Weather forecast for Leicester on Sat is sunny intervals and 7 degrees (3 in the morning and 4 in the afternnoon?) Foxes will score at least S(e)ven and Richie Wellens has called for an 'electric' atmosphere, obviously to give Donny a shock. Weale be there! Will you(ki)?
  8. Thoroughly enjoyed last night! Great company and a Great result! I’ve just watched this morning’s repeat on Sky and was even more impressed with how we played. Not for the first time, we made a good team look very ordinary. ‘King Power’ is proving to be a rather more appropriate slogan than we first thought !!!!!
  9. Having read the post from Leicester_Mad, I have just phoned the Red Lion and was told there would be no problem as they are able to show multiple matches.
  10. Hi Old and Young fans (that’s George Old, Fosse goalie c1891 and Alexander Forbes Young, - Alan to you, who terrorized goalies in the early 1980’s) I’m an Ibstock lad by birth but have lived in the Manchester / Stockport since the late 60's. I’ve been a Leicester fan since September 1949, having been taken by my dad, now deceased, but who was also a totally dedicated City fan, to watch a team in blue and white play somebody else, and I’ve been following the team in blue and white ever since. As such, I feel honoured that a fraction of my extensive and varied collection of programmes and other memorabilia that I have amassed over the years, was recently featured in the Fans Gallery of the match programme v Hull. My favourite player of all time is Davie Gibson – pure magic and with Mike Stringfellow, they must rank as the best City duo ever. Those fans who saw Derek Hogg play will tell you of the best left winger ever to play for City and to see the Arthur Rowley goal machine in action was pure poetry. The 50’s, 60’s and 70’s were a goal-den era in City’s illustrious history. Today, the game is so different. We have referees that can’t ref, we have rules that are potty, we have a team that can’t score, defenders that can’t defend, we’ve had managers that can’t manage and we follow a team where the only positive thing that you can predict about them is that they are totally unpredictable. So this year, I’ve seen the games v Sunderland, Macclesfield, Burnley, Middlesbrough and Hull plus the ones on TV. Otherwise, I’m on-line at home, in Portugal and once in downtown LA. Like it seems a few others on this board, I also post on 606 and Bentley’s Roof Variety is the spice of life I tune into the moan-in every Monday, ‘for better or for worse’, and have been on air a few times as ‘Peter from Stockport’. My wife is from Ashington, N’land – Charlton / Milburn country and my sister-in-law was in the same class as Bobby in primary school. But life and City move on and with different ‘owners’- actually the real owners are the fans, but you have to humour them, I’m looking forward to the next Sven-sational era in our Clubs history! The future’s bright, The future’s blue and white.
  11. Bramhall, Stockport! If you don't want to drive down to the Walkers for a Saturday match, then try East Midlands train to Nottingham leaving Man Piccadilly at 8-43; 9.43; 10-43. Calls at Stockport, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Alfreton, Nottingham. Takes 1hr 45 then trains to Leicester every 30 mins. The 8-43 and 9-43 are always packed to Sheffield then 90% get off. Trains come back every hour, If you book online, EMT will probably send you an e-mail giving you 10% discount on your next trip.
