Springsteen has been going strong for 50 years plus and still putting on a show nearly 3 hours long. If you can play that long and people come away saying ‘ I wish he’d played…’ I think you’re up there. 
 

I would say currently Coldplay, Taylor Swift and Beyonce are at their peak with Lady Gaga not far behind. They can all sell out stadiums anywhere in the world with ease. 
 

Up and coming Olivia Rodrigo might be the one. On her two albums so far everything is very good and what I’ve heard of her new album so far it seems like it’s just going to continue. 
 

Kraftwerk on Friday at the Albert Hall.

Should be superb musically not exactly sure what the crowd will be like.

2 hour set but Autobahn could take up 20 minutes! 

Paul Heaton announced a few dates in November but realistically I can’t make any unfortunately.

Only possible date is the Friday night in Sheffield but I’m in Cardiff for the Wales v Japan rugby the next day.

The following Tuesday in Nottingham but I’m already at the Motorpoint for the Manics, Bill Bailey and Enter Shakiri on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with different people on each night. Three nights is pushing it but four would finish me off. 
 

Following Friday in Birmingham, but already committed to Enter Shakiri.

Real shame as it’s always a great gig.

Three or four of us going. I didn't book them so i'm not totally sure. 

I honestly think if people felt better off Reform would be nothing.

Unfortunately Labour seemed intent on coming in strong with policies that would require a three of four term mandate. Right now it looks like they will last one and whatever they have tried to achieve will look wasted. 
 

NI increases on businesses, lead to

lower wage rises, tax thresholds have been frozen, the price of fuel and goods have risen and they just don’t seem to care.

They keep throwing stats out about NHS waiting lists, but getting a doctor or dentist appointment seems as bad as ever.
 

People voted for better but in real life terms very little seems to have changed, if anything a lot of people, myself included, think it’s gotten worse.

They keep trotting out the line about the right wing press but that goes back decades if not centuries. They talk about a 26% turnout last night like they expect more to vote at a GE, they might but I’m pretty sure many will be voting Labour. 
 

Reeves was toxic to me a long time ago but he’s had to cling on to her after losing Rayner and a few others. Starmer seems far more confident and at ease on the international stage, domestically he just seems to bury his head in the sand. The Mandelson thing, it’s like death by a thousand cuts for him now.
 

I couldn’t give you a name of anyone to replace him who would actually change course enough  to make a difference. 
 

There’s no way I’ll ever vote Reform but I understand why a lot do, and it’s not all down to racism.

Just had my Sunday afternoon nap 

Went to the pub for the United game the day before so decided to watch it at home with the now ex-wife. 
 

Had a meal on the sofa and a couple of beers. I  screamed so loud when Hazard scored that both of our cats bolted for the cat flap. I kind of regret not going down to the ground but I spent the next few hours all over the internet looking at the reaction to what we had done. 
 

I actually cried with relief it was over,  I used to wake in the middle of the night wondering how I would cope if we had got so close only for Spurs to beat us to it on Goal Difference.

Cox was abit hardcore for me I'm more of a Tracey house but I knew what to expect hes a great mixer.

Prodigy were awesome and the lighting etc fantastic.

Great venue and crowd, bloodu hot though.

My last gig was chemical brothers and all standing.

I’m kind of expecting to stand but my mate surprised me yesterday by sending me of photo of his foot covered in a bandage after having a very minor op.

Two 57 year olds will be there (in the seats!!!)

I usually park at the Train Station and walk it or do park and ride from South Clifton (walk down to the town hall square to get to the tram back to avoid the mob at the Lace Market stop) Although it’s all pay by app now it’s only just over £3 when I park after 6pm! 

Probably wearing jeans, trainers, a t-shirt and sweatshirt. It’s been ridiculously hot in there the last couple of times I’ve been. 

Definitely the worst, although it’s not really making me feel that bad.

I know there’s an incredible amount of anger and frustration from so many at the moment but to be honest it’s not really bothering me.

I’ve gradually felt less and less connection to the club and top level professional football in general. Since December ‘24 I must have been to about 40% of the home games even though I have a season ticket. I have games on TV but don’t actually pay attention to them and whilst I used to watch England at tournaments I’m not even bothered about that anymore, certainly won’t be staying up for any late night WC kick offs. 
 

I’m at the point where even if they went out of business I don’t think I would be distraught. 
 

I was going just to say goodbye to a couple of guys who sit with us who won't be renewing but I just can't be arsed.

The PL and the so called are big six must be delighted as our demise sends a shot across the bows of Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth  etc to what could happen if you dare to step up and don't stay in your lane.

We had a model and it fell apart, players wised up and just went through the motions of playing out their contracts to get a better deal for themselves when they moved on. We bought badly, offered ridiculous terms and  contracts to players just let us down badly. 

I find it incredibly hard to have much a connection to the team or the club these days, Professional football at the top level just really doesn't do much for me anymore.

I'll be there next year but a part of me thinks what is the actual point anymore, we're never going to match the revenue streams of the major clubs regardless of how well we do.

I've been funding my horse racing losses by betting against the City for months!

I told myself I wouldn't bother again after Preston but a couple of the guys who I sit in our group I originally got to know as friends of a friend coming together down the city.

They aren't renewing next year and as we're in opposing sides of the county it's unlikely i'll run into them elsewhere (may have to go the Speedway!)

Not going tonight but might go on Friday just to say goodbye really.

I’ve only been sporadically since the end of 2024.

I’ve been the last few but two night games for a team already down means I won’t be making the effort.

Speaking purely football wise, not financially, we need to go down. Staying up delays the inevitable and next season would be more of the same. Our fan base needs more wins and it won’t happen next year in the championship and may yet not in the third tier, but it might give us a breather.

12 months ago people were saying the same thing about us coming down to the championship, we’ve not hit rock bottom yet.
