Wonder when Rudkins birthday is. Look forward to that post!

Why are people questioning if Ruud will be off?
It’s quite clear he is and its just financials holding up the announcement.
Just another example of the mess the board has got us into and impact on another season because we can’t make a swift move for a manager

Hierarchy of events is:
- Confirmation of any penalty / points deduction / transfer ban:
- Confirmation of new manager: No self respecting player or manager will join until they know the outcome of that, so i'd imagine the league will drag it out as a secondary sort of punishment if they feel we are trying to evade a breach.
- Player signings: If we are late to the party for key positions, particularly in the striking dept then we will be at a massive disadvantage. We are currently well stocked elsewhere for the championship, depending on departures but have zero up top.
Missed the most important change at the top of the chain. Rudkin out, new Director of football

Apologies to Ricky P who is definitely not horrendous. The other 2 mentioned would be very good at a team like Stoke or Hull, but we should be aiming higher

I wonder how many bids he will reject this summer for this horrendous lot before they leave on a free in the summer…
Jakub Stolarkzyk
Ricardo Pereira
Conor Coady
James Justin
Boubakary Soumare
Patson Daka
Jordan Ayew
Will Alves

Genuinely, there's about 20 players I would rather lose before Hamza.

KDH only making the bench tonight. Feel bad for him. Normally starts in that competition and now it seems he's only needed when they're playing in the arctic circle.
So shit that we had to let him go.....clubs could do worse than having 4 or 5 players on the pitch with his sort of commitment and dedication to the cause.
Don’t feel sorry for him. Assist and European winner tonight.
Beats playing ‘heads, shoulders, knees and toes’ with Soumare and BDR in training I guess

Didn't he force his way out of Genk for us?
Pretty sure he'll be off without a second thought if there's a team interested that's doing better than us.
And he'll be off again once a team bigger than them sniffs.
Many qualities, but loyalty won't be one of them.
That’s correct. He won’t think twice about forcing a move, but it won’t come to that. We will need the cash

Both midlands based. One may play in gold and the other may play in claret and blue!

Why? I don't think he has shown enough for anyone to offer more than we paid for him.
I don't think there will be a queue for any of our deadbeats.
Well I know of two Premier League clubs that have made contact already

No chance he is staying!!!!!!

It’s got to the point where I don’t care who the manager is. Until Rudkin is removed and the boardroom changes required are made, the managerial appointment is pointless.
They will be promised the world as the previous managers, not given the full story and not backed as they will be told they will

People saying they will support him because he is better than what we have…sums up where we currently are as a club

Shout out to anyone who has renewed to watch this level of team next season. Horrible side that.
On the plus side, will be able to add in Hamza next year

Southampton away in the Russell Martin Derby.
We have 98% possession but concede to a late goal on the counter to remain on minus 8 points. 11 points behind the Saints.
Happy days

If we lose Evans and Monga, and end up with Martin, my season ticket is gone.
I can’t believe so many committed not knowing who the manager would be, points deduction outcome, recruitment strategy and boardroom changes!

Need Rudkin out first before appointing manager. Simple stuff Top

It doesn't matter who we get as the next manager.... until the shitshow is sorted upstairs we could have Pep and it still wouldn't work.
We are that much in the long grass that getting Martin would be a scoop, who on earth half decent would want to come here???
Been saying this for months.
Need Rudkin out first and the new DOF to appoint the next manager

Fully agree. The amount of money he has cost the club over the years is unbelievable.
Signing Monga on a ‘pre’ contract is good business, but doesn’t scrape the sides on filling the the money pit he has cost the club.
If he doesn’t walk this summer, he should be sacked or very worst case scenario be moved sideways to just focus on transporting the KP horses around the UK
